Sand Creek Trail Paving and Detours
Paving of the new concrete trail gets underway this week in Reach 2A that is from the confluence of Westerly Creek and Sand Creek to Central Park Blvd. This portion of the trail will be closed during this work, detour maps are attached below.
North End Park Renderings and Information from Civitas and Brookfield
A Central Park neighbor asked CPUN to follow up with Brookfield regarding the plans and construction timeline for one of the parks in the North End area of the community. Here is the information provided, included new renderings.
According to Jim Chrisman, SVP of Development Central Park Denver from Brookfield, they hope to starting construction in Q3 or Q$ of this year and expect it to take 9-12 months to complete construction of the park once it has started.

One of CASR's goals is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation sector by increasing adoption of electric vehicles in Denver to meet our goals that 30% of vehicles are electric by 2030 and 100% are electric by 2050.To reach these goals equitably, our work focuses on:
Increasing the deployment of charging stations by the City and the private sector
Educating the community on the benefits of electric vehicles
Supporting the electrification of shared mobility options
We partner with Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure to support sustainable transportation. All of this work is done with a strong focus on equity and how the benefits of electrification can be made accessible to under-resourced communities in Denver.
